Have you ever been on a journey to an unknown destination and you made a wrong turn? How did you feel, after walking or driving for so long only to realise your mistake? Even if you haven’t experienced this, you can imagine how catastrophic it can be, especially in an unfamiliar neighbourhood where danger looms in the late hours of the night.

Scary, isn’t it?

Likewise in the journey of life; some of us wander in the wonders of the world and get lost in it while others just lose track of home or their destination. A whole lot of other things can contribute to making a wrong turn, a wrong decision that can end in damnation.

But I want you to know that no matter the “where” or “how long ago” or “why” you have taken the wrong turn, Jesus alone is way, the truth and eternal life (John 14:6).

He is the light; let him lead you back home.
