Though a belle in my prime

Yet I barely had a dime

I passed on chances to loot

Still, they termed me a lazy Nigerian youth.

Then came cupid along with his transmission

An effective but apprehensive transfusion

Of love so strong and intoxicating

Why would anyone love me who was so irritating?

He did though, he who deserves all accolades

He gave me every assurance this was bigger than cupid

For it was a love purchased with that worth more than a Porsche

His blood chose lazy, irritating me to be his bride.

Here was a love

So big, so grand

It deserved nothing short

Of a Royal wedding.
