John 15:4-5
Vs 4: Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches:
Vs 5: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
This is a second part of last week’s sermon.
Things to know when you cultivate the Holy Spirit
4. He will honor your humility and willingness.
5. You will understand that He will be committed to your guidance. Rom 8:14
Vs 14: For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
For those who are true sons and daughters of God, the Holy Spirit is committed to their guidance. He will ensure that they are not distracted or diverted.
6. He will decide your assignment on earth. Acts 8:29 when you understand the importance of your assignment you will abandon yourself in totality to the life of the Holy Spirit.
7. He will advice you about every appointment of the day, your daily activities and help you organize your time and prioritize.
8. He will help you understand timing. Esther, Ruth, children of Issachar 1 Chronicles 12:32 were people who I stood times in the Bible.
9. He will impact uncommon love in your heart for the unlovable people.
10. He will reveal future events to you before they happen. John 16:13, 2 Pet 1:21
11. He is delighted when you sing to him. Those in the music ministry are always smiling Ex 15:11; Ps 100:2
12. You will experience supernatural rest, Peace of mind, joy in the Holy Ghost in the midst of warfare Ps 127:2
13. He becomes an enemy to your enemies Ex 23:22, Is 59:19
14. You will understand that the Holy Ghost who is a gentle spirit has a dangerous side. You must be careful not to enter there. Is 63:10
Vs 10: But they rebelled, and vexed his holy Spirit: therefore he was turned to be their enemy, and he fought against them.
Those who are rebels are looking for the trouble of the Holy Spirit and no pastor can help you out unless you sort things out with Him.
Who is a Rebel?
1. When you disobey divine instruction
2. If you develop relationship with the ungodly against the word of God to you. In friendships, there is duration. Some 1 month, one year, some might not last more than 24 hours and Some till death do you part. Friendship is by choice not by force
3. When you allow the flesh control the affairs of your life
4. When your conscience is dead Acts 7:51;
5. If you permit others to deceive you with error and falsehood. Eph 5:6-7
Vs 6: Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.
Vs 7: Be not ye therefore partakers with them.
6. When you refuse to respond to his inner conviction. Lots of people are converted, few have conviction in their heart. 2 cor 6:2; Heb 10:26
If the holy spirit is giving you warnings and you refuse to heed, get ready to receive Holy Ghost koboko
Whatever you do this year, honor and treasure the voice of the Holy Spirit. Don’t listen to the voice of the stranger
You will not be diverted, distracted and would not miss your way this year in Jesus name

- Holy Spirit take all of me and give me all of you this year 2020 in Jesus name.
