INTRODUCTION

Have you ever found yourself in a situation where you just didn’t know what to do? May be you had a big decision to make may be you were faced with a major crisis. May be you did something very stupid/inappropriate. Not only did you not know how you got into this mess, but you didn’t know how to get out of it either.

It’s been said that desperate times call for desperate measures.

WHAT TO DO WHEN YOU DON’T KNOW WHAT TO DO.

1.Make sure that Jesus Christ is your closest, deepest and most intimate friend.

2.Let Christ come into your total being.

3.Note that there is no SIN that God cannot forgive.

4.Rest in the Lord and lean not on your own personal understanding Prov 3-5-6

5.Keep working out your faith in God with trembling.

6. Keep a strong possibility posture as you confront your problem.

7. Constantly affirm your victory and success- tell people confidently that you are going to win and succeed (Case study: Joshua and Caleb).

8. Do not be discouraged if you do not accomplish everything that you set out to accomplish.

9. Attempt great things for God and expect great things from God.

10. When the situation looks hopeless keep your hope alive in God.

11. Remember tough  times never last but tough people do Psa 46:1)

12. Move ahead with possibility thinking Luke 1

13. When it looks like you are finished and everyone hath abandoned you keep holding on ( Psa 121:1,2)

14. When everything looks impossible refuse to accept defeat (Luke 5:1-12)

15. Always remember that your closest friends, even friends might forsake you but remember God has promised never to neither leave you nor forsake you Heb 18:5

16. Always know that God cannot lie (Titus 1:2)

17. Be sure the promises of God – the scriptures cover the things you ask for and are believing for Rom 10:17 “So then faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God.”

18. Be sure you are not living in SIN nor practicing wrong doing (1John 1:7, I Cor 11:11) “For if we judge ourselves, we should not be judged”.

19. Be sure no doubt or unbelief is permitted in your life concerning the promises of God.

20. Take your ground and constantly resist the devil (James 4:9)

21. Do not tolerate for one single moment a thought to the contrary but that it is yours 2 Cor 10:15

22. Give glory to God even before your desire comes into manifestation (Rom 4:19-21) (Abraham staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief, but was STRONG in faith, GIVING GLORY TO GOD

What did Abraham do:

a.He gave glory to God

b.He was fully persuaded that what God had promised He was able also to perform.

23. Do not allow your condition to stop your prayers and commitment – when you don’t allow your condition to stop your commitment your commitment will stop your condition.

24. Sometimes act as though you have received what you asked.

25. Talk to God and let God talk to you back.

26. Know and believe that God who has begun a good work in you  will complete it (Phil 1:6)

27. With your eyes of faith always see God working things out in your favour (Rom 4:17 Heb 11:1-6)

28. Remember that what God cannot do does not exist Jer32:27, Mark 10:27, Mark 14:36, Matt 17:20, Luke 18:27 “With God Nothing is Impossible”

29. Ensure you help others out of their problems in a little way you can do it and God will help you also (lend a helping hand to the less fortunate).

30. Remember when things get tough don’t move, people and pressures shift but the soil remains the same no matter where you go.

31. Expose your brain and heart to a constant positive diet. (If you want something worthwhile to come out of your mind, you have to put something worthwhile into it).

GOD BLESS YOU.
