Anytime you praise Him for his holiness, He sets an ambush for your enemies. He also makes your fighters begin to fight each other.

Text: 2 Chronicles 20: 20-22, 25-27

1. The first thing I want you to note today is that God is a Holy God and he expects us to be holy as well.

2. Secondly, God desires that we praise him. Verse 21 of our text says “… praise Him in the beauty of his holiness”, i.e. praising God because of his holiness.

The reason behind God’s power is his holiness. It mentioned somewhere that iniquity weakens authority. God’s authority cannot reduce, simply because of his holiness.

3. Anytime you praise Him for his holiness, He sets an ambush for your enemies. He also makes your fighters begin to fight each other.

It is our duty to praise God for His holiness with different tongues and languages.

We give thanks to God for who He is; also, because He is the one that does not lie. He remains God whether or not people choose to praise Him.

Through praise, you can convert disadvantages to your own advantage, and have the Lord fight for you. God also gives you abundance as a result of praising him and you’d return with Joy.

Don’t forget that God hates sin but has love for sinners. He wants sinners to come to him and leave their sins behind.

You must have victory over sin, for your worship and praises to be acceptable before God.

Make the decision to turn a new leaf today.
