Declaration:

• This fifth month, I see grace to accomplish great things coming upon you.
• The great grace that was upon the apostle that enabled them to be above and ahead their equal will be upon you in the name of Jesus.
• This month of May, grace to achieve great things with ease is coming upon you right now.
• This month of May, you, your mum, your dad, your family will not be naked. You will not be disgraced
• Anyone expecting evil to happen to you will receive what they plan for you in the name of Jesus.

Sermon Objectives:

1. To understand that it is God’s will for us to prosper
2. To know that it is your fault if you fail to succeed where God has designed you to prosper.
3. To know that we do not have a poor God

Secrets to Break Financial Hardship

1. Maintain God first mentality – Matt 6:33: Seek God first when others are seeking the world

• It’s a situation in your life where God is your first, last and everything to you.

• Incurable addiction to God
• A brutal dedication to God

God will never bless a man that will backslide

2. Maintain a lifestyle of sowing and sacrifice – 2 Chron. 1:1-7: Solomon offered God sacrifice and he got an open cheque. Noah is another example whose life was changed by the power of sacrifice – Gen 8: 20-22; 9:1.

What Can Sacrifice Do?

• Sacrifice is a key to breaking financial hardship.
• Sacrifice can provoke blessing
• Sacrifice can break the season of hardship

Receive the Grace to be involved and maintain the life of sacrifice in the name of Jesus.

Note:

• Any man or woman stingy towards God or tightens fist will remain in tight situation.
• Don’t look at your pocket to give. Give from the little you have.
• If you can’t give when you have little, you can never give when you have abundance.

3. Maintain a Source of Income.

God will only bless the works of your hand. Trusting God without work is futile. Don’t be lazy, have a source of income.

Always pray to God for multiple sources of income. – Deut. 28: 8.

Note:

• Your salary is meant to be a source of seed and investment.
• Start little if you need to establish something that will bring you steady income.

Every financial hardship over your life is broken today, in the name of Jesus.

That veil of darkness that is blocking your mind, your insight and inspiration is broken in the name of Jesus.

4. Avoid Indebtedness and Borrowing – Proverb 22:7: The borrower is a servant to the lender.

• A borrower will keep using loan to settle debt.
• It is a satanic plan to enslave someone for life.
• Borrowing can become a habit and a lifestyle if no cautioned.

Today, that season of borrowing is over in the name of Jesus.

• Borrowing leads to financial slavery
• Avoid useless and senseless borrowing. E.g., Borrowing to fund a luxurious lifestyle above your current means.
• Borrowing establishes a person’s life in servanthood
• Borrowing is an anti-covenant operation that nullifies the blessings of God

Season of begging and borrowing in my lie, expire in the name of Jesus.

If you have been trapped by the spirit of borrowing, by the mercies of God, receive freedom today, in the name of Jesus.

• Borrowing empties tomorrow into today

5. Maintain Absolute Confidence in God – Jer. 17:5-10: Put your trust in God not in men

• To look up to a man is to limit your destiny

• To look up to man is to provoke the jealousy of God

This who know how to beg God don’t beg men.

6. Learn to Sow the Seed of Favour and Mercy – Psalm 18:24

1. Be involved in the business of changing people’s level if you want God to change your level.
2. God shows favour to those who know how to show people favour
3. Be committed to something good in the life of another person

7. Keep Learning and Improving Yourself

1. Pay to improve yourself if need be
2. Improve your skills
3. No one will entrust anything serious into the hands of someone with little or no knowledge – 2 Chro. 8:18
4. Learn something new every day, add to what you already know.
5. Your relevance is a function of your learnings.
6. Keep improving because knowledge determines your promotion. Knowledge enhance your supply and it is a secret to break financial hardship.

What to do?

• Ask for forgiveness if you have not been doing any of the aforementioned.
• Rededicate and surrender your life to Jesus.

Prayers

1. This month oh God, help me to come in contact with the knowledge that will make me the head and not the tail, in the name of Jesus.
2. Lord, this month, help me to increase in learning in the direction that will make my life better and productive, in the name of Jesus.
