Texts: Gen 8:20-22

After the flood, Noah offered a sacrifice unto God. He smelt the sweet savour and said he would never destroy the earth again. To keep that plan in place, he made seasons, and we shall discuss some of them.

1.SEED TIME: This is a time of sacrifice, a time of investments. It is a time to sow seeds, and do things that will bring the results you want; hence it is a time of hard work and digging.

2. HARVEST TIME: This is a time of reward, reaping, restrategizing and reinvesting. It is a very tough time because it can take one man to plant a field, but one man cannot harvest it.

3.COLD SEASON (WINTER): This is a time of betrayal, rejection and abandonment. It’s a time where nothing seems to be working. It’s a time of loneliness and a time that no one wants to associate with you.

4. HOT SEASON (SUMMER): It’s a time of enjoyment, relaxation and joy. A time where everything is bright and beautiful.

5. NIGHT SEASON: This is a time of darkness, and no one notices you. It’s a time to dream big; a time of quietness, development and creativity. It is also a time to build skills and abilities.

6. DAY SEASON: This is a season of light, exposure and global recognitions. A time where the world wakes up to your glory. In this season, you can attract both good and bad friends.

None of these seasons is bad. God just wants to create a system of equity in the administration of men. Indeed, they are designed to help man.

These seasons that we pass through are to help us grow.  We can’t stay in a period for too long. There is a designated period. When you stay in the harvest period for too long, you can forget how to sow.

The fact that you are drawn to another man’s harvest does not mean you are in your harvest time. Hence, the harvest time of a man does not determine yours. This has made young people lose it in life and destiny because they cannot understand the season of life.

Don’t compare yourself and resent others. They have gone through their own seasons. Know the season you are in so that you don’t miss out. As a result, there are two major questions you must constantly ask yourself:

1 What season are you in?

2 What are you doing in your season?

Don’t misplace seasons. You cannot have a harvest you didn’t sow. Understand seasons well.

Position yourself, and sow your seeds so that when you enter your harvest, it fits you well. It’s what you do during your seasons that will determine your end. Matthew 2:13
