Lessons from Bible text (John 5:1-16)
1. To benefit from the healing power of God, you must believe His power is present
2. The presence of the healing power of God sometimes does not guarantee you will be healed
3. The power of the Lord can be present to heal, but you are not sensitive to it.
4. Our healing is something Jesus suffered and paid for.
5. His desire for you to be healed and walk in divine health is the reason he went through so much pain and suffering.
6. The healing power of God can be likened to an electrical current.
How can you be Healed?
1. Through the laying of hands. Luke 4:40, James 5:14-15
2. Through deliverance. Matthew 8:16. Through this, you can cast out the spirit responsible for the infirmity
3. Through breaking of curses. Galatians 3:13-15
4. Through virtue or the touch of Jesus Christ. Mark 5:29-30
5. Through fasting. Isaiah 58:8
6 Through prayer. Matthew 21:22
7. Through the Presence of God. Luke 5:17
8. The Word of God. Psalm 107:20
9. Through faith. Mark 11:23
10. Through mantle. Acts 19:12
11. Through the gift of healing. 1 Corinthians 12: 9-28
12. Through anointing oil. (The Oil symbolizes the Spirit of God). Isaiah 10:27
