Sometimes ago while I was growing up, the Pastor heading my church was transferred and that’s how the church went into disarray sharp sharp. Some members (many actually) stopped coming, workers followed him to his new branch, and then some members stayed back but they were “New Pastor’s Antagonist” ooo. The NPA group. It was serious mehn. Very few people were really coming to church.
That brings me to my question fellow readers, what is your take on this matter? Should Pastors even be transferred ? Should members hold on to Pastors? Is this an issue or not??

Ahahahahahaha… not bad actually. I think this issue has subsided a bit. Pastors can actually be transferred, but u see, everyone needs to understand that. We didn’t come to worship d pastors but God.
Truth is….
Pastors are “Pastors” because of the “Sheep” or “flock” that they lead… There becomes a relationship between both…a sort of fondness…
So don’t blame the members who follow Pastors to the new branch..
As to whether Pastors should be transferred or not…that one is inevitable… Missionary tins…
Finally…NPA peeps,…haters mehn….always everywhere… Pastors just have to learn to deal with it…

You knw Christ pronounced it that “on this rock I’d build my church” making it crystal clear that the church is God’s. The bible also notes that “my people perish for lack of knowledge”… Those members are a product of sheer ignorance. They are to come to church to fall in love with God and not the pastors. The pastors have been called to harvest. You cannot remain harvesting on a plot of land fr long yrs. You’ve to explore other fertile soil nd sow the seed(truth) there. I hope people come to understand the reason they are in church. Instead of them to join work force they are doing NPA force…lol
It’s a pity that some people go to church for d sake of the pastor which is a wrong reason for going to church.We should be in church to worship God and fellowship with the brethrens.Anyway, different people with different ideas!
