One boy came from one town, a downtown village in Ekiti State. He came to stay with one of his uncles who had been in Lagos for thirty-seven years. They stayed in Ajegunle, one room apartment, a “face me I slap you” room. The boy would sleep on the mat while the uncle sleeps on the bed. This uncle was so poor that he could not afford to marry a wife, so both of them were there. The boy just arrived from Ekiti about one month to that time. After a while, this boy got a job as a messenger in a private firm on a salary of fifteen thousand naira. The boy was a Christian and his uncle who had been in Lagos for thirty-seven years was also a Christian.
One day, the boy came to a meeting like this and there was a word of knowledge which said, “There is somebody here, now you do not have a house, a car, and are poor; within two weeks, you will have a house, you will have a car and your poverty shall be a forgotten story.”
There was a word of knowledge like that but you know once words like that come, some people do not believe it, but this boy shouted “I receive it.” He went to work the next day. During his lunch break, he went to buy roasted plantain to eat. As he got to the bus-stop, he saw a flashy car.
The people who were with the car tried to start it but the car did not start. They were getting agitated and he saw they were armed. There was a little boy in their custody and the boy was shouting, “Leave me alone!” So a holy boldness got into the messenger. He went there and grabbed the boy from their hand and said, “Are you people kidnappers, where are you taking this boy to?” Luckily the car engine picked up, so they drove off and left him with this little boy in his school uniform.
He took the boy to his office to ask for permission to take him to the police station. When the Managing Director saw him with the boy, he shouted, “Sunday! Sunday! What are you doing here?” The boy exclaimed, “Ha!” He now realised the boy he had rescued was the son of his boss. The Managing Director was so happy and he prayed for the messenger. He almost prostrated for him, thanking him for saving the life of the boy.
The next day, he took the messenger, gave him a house, a car, and promoted him. He gave him keys and described where the house was. The boy went there, he thought it was just going to be a flat, but he found out it was a whole house. He went back home and said to his uncle, “Uncle, I got a house, a whole house; I have a car but I cannot drive.” The uncle replied, “Shut up! I have been in Lagos for thirty-seven years, I don’t even have a flat and you are talking about owning a house.”
He said, “Uncle, that is the key.” So the uncle followed the boy there. The man was amazed. The next day, the boy got to the office and the Managing Director asked him, “I hope there is furniture in the house?” He replied, “There is no furniture.” The man said, “Okay, I will give you furniture.” This was how within a week, someone who was sleeping on the mat beside his uncle got a house, a car and a promotion. That is the power of the limitless God.
Back then, when Mountain of Fire was at Old Yaba Road, a prostitute joined us. Before she joined us, she had developed cancer of the womb. Her womb was removed during a surgery. At the time she joined Mountain of Fire, she had no womb. She made up her mind to just serve God and concluded that she was not going to do any other thing with her life.
She was coming to church and she was serving God. All of a sudden one day, one brother who is now a pastor went to her and said, “God said you are my wife.” The lady said, “You must be joking.” She did not respond. The brother kept bothering her saying, “God said you are my wife.” When the trouble became too much for the lady, she called him and said, “Excuse me, there is no womb, do you understand? That is why I cannot say yes.” The brother responded, “God did not tell me whether there is a womb or not; He just said, this is your wife.” So they came to us and got wedded.
Beloved, it was the pregnancy of this lady that converted the doctor who removed her womb. The doctor kept saying, “But I removed the womb.” God has the power to manufacture a new womb and bring it back to position. God has spare parts of every organ of the body in His warehouse and He can replace it. He can do anything to anybody at any time. That is the power of a limitless God.
When you connect to that God, your Pharaoh will sink in the Red Sea. When you connect to that God, everywhere you go, the glory of your life shall shine. When you connect to that God, those who are laughing you to scorn shall be disgraced. When you connect to that God, any power that wants to embarrass you shall be embarrassed. When you connect to that God, everything that has been stolen from you shall be replaced. Everywhere you go, if they tell people better luck next time, come back next time; you will not be told sorry, come back next time. When you connect to that God, your enemies will flee. When you connect to that God, any evil name given to you by the enemy shall change. When you connect to that God, your wall of Jericho shall collapse.
What do you do? I want you to:
- Surrender your life to Jesus;
- Serve a limitless God; and
- Pray what we call, “Prayer with a large mouth.” The Bible says, “Open your mouth wide and I will fill it.” Pray impossible prayers. Ask for things that people who hear you praying will say you are crazy. Ask for those crazy things. Ask for those mad things before God. Things that people will make people say “No, no, what kind of prayer is this one?”
The Bible says, “Open your mouth and I will fill it.” You serve a limitless God and to connect to Him, you must pray large, audacious and magnetic prayers.
