Loneliness – a very sad feeling, a very strong emotion, so intense that it hurts

You find yourself alone, seeking for companionship

The few you know, know nothing about friendship

You seek for one who understands you as you are

Sorrow fills your heart when you realise they’re far

Tears, solitude, and worries define your nights

You squeeze yourself up in a lonely corner without the lights

You dream of the ocean, and the peace it brings

You wish in your heart every day that the feeling clings

And just when you seem to find no answers

You remember you have a God who answers

He’s the only one who understands how you feel

He occupies that place in your heart that no one can fill

You cry to Him to bring someone who is like you

But then it seems like the request of a fool

What am I saying?

What is the message relaying?

God wants me to know that there is no other friend like Him

And so, I know He’s gonna light up my world no matter how dim.
