Year 2020 is quite exciting.
In our time, we easily fall into deception. In automobiles, for example they change the shape, engine, call it a new name and we start to crave for it. Matt 6:24,33
vs 24: No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
vs 33: But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Based on these scriptures there are only 2 masters. It is either God or money and you can’t serve both. Every set up in church has 2 Masters. Those that come because of money and those that are there for God. Which is why we have to look at the 4G agenda
1. God – Seek ye first the kingdom of God. To seek is a searching process, don’t stay at a point, pay rapt attention. Many things are competing with God in our lives. Our job, marriage, passion. Rev 14:13
vs 13: And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.
Not their cars, houses or certificates but their works. Seek Jesus, the father,the spirit of God. Once you seek God you will get to the top. A child of God can only be in 2 places on top or your way to the top.
2. Guys
3. Girls
4. Gold
If Guys and Girls seek God, they would get Gold.
Put God first before gold. You belong to the top.
Facts about the Top
• There is a top in everything in life. In ministry, in business, politics, sport, medicine, technology, science. Man can only raise you to the extent of his hand but as you seek God and his righteousness, he will lift you to the highest.
• The top is available. It is not crowded, there are vacancies on the top. It is the bottom that is crowded. Billionaires can still be made, technocrats can still be made, pastors can still be made.
• The ladder of success doesn’t discriminate who climbs it. No one is limited unless you agree you are limited.
• All success meet at the top.
Is 60:15
Vs 15:Whereas thou has been forsaken and hated, so that no man went through thee, I will make thee an eternal excellency, a joy of many generations.
Many Men that failed initially but made it in history;
- Albert Einstein couldn’t speak until he was 4
- Bill gates was a dropout
- Oprah Winfrey was raped at 9
Your initial failure may not necessarily be your tomorrow. Failure is not a person, just an event.
Micah 7:8
vs 8: Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord shall be a light unto me.
Things you need to do in 2020
1. Avoid opinions from unregenerated friends. Rehoboam in the Bible.
2. Pray and fight all the time against temptation. It is not a sin to be tempted but a sin to fall for temptation. Temptation is only an invitation, the moment you decline, you are not tempted
3. Understand times and season. Understand like the children of Issachar 1 chronicle 13:32.
vs 32: And of the children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do; the heads of them were two hundred; and all their brethren were at their commandment.
In the market of life, time is the currency. The wise invest time. They spend money to save time.
