Text: Jer 29:11
“Vs 11:For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”
Nothing should limit you as a child of God, failure is not final or fatal. It is just a stepping stone. When you serve God, you are limitless.
Three areas you need to break limits
- Spiritual
- Mental
- Career
My father organize my destiny to achieve my divine assignment.
Time is too short for games. Your daily affairs should be packed with destiny agenda without distractions.
1.Spiritual limit: The spiritual controls the physical affairs. Most of those big boys are very demonic that will do anything to make money. Even they do spiritual things to make money in the physical. Eph 3:20
“Vs 20: Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,”
God has all the abilities and capabilities. The spiritual power must work in you. If His power isn’t at work in you, nothing will happen. That gives you the platform to embrace spirituality in everything. Do everything to grow spiritually, that is when you have the capability to do anything. Matt 6:33
“Vs 33: But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”
God’s kingdom takes primacy over things. Those preaching miracles, prosperities are doing disservice to the kingdom of God.You don’t need to preach them, they would be added.
2.Mental: If you see a christian not studying or reading and just praying he will die a pauper, a miserable idiot. When you study his word, you are reasoning with God. Rubbing minds with him.
Acts 7:22
“Vs 22: And Moses was learned in all the wisdom of the Egyptians, and was mighty in words and in deeds.”
Despite him having God’s spirit, he still used his faculty, he was learning, he wanted to know everything about Egypt. Devour everything in your study. Be an avid reader. Read everything relevant to your pursuits. Dan 1:20
“Vs 20; And in all matters of wisdom and understanding, that the king enquired of them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers that were in all his realm.”
These men broke mental limit. If you fail to use your brain, God will not use you. Show yourself approved. Before God can approve you, your brain must be working.
3.Career limit: Prov 22:29
“Vs 22: Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.”
Diligence is what you need in your career. Be a workaholic. If you don’t want to become indigent, become diligent. It is an antidote for poverty. Work, if you want things to work.
Five bullet points on breaking limits
1.Avoid fraudulent activities (scam, cyber crime…)You are inviting curses on yourself and Limiting your destiny. If you have been fraudulent, you must return all the money you have stolen from people. It is called Restitution. 1 cor 3:19
“Vs 19: For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.”
God will catch you so don’t go into that area.
2.Avoid unprofitable relationship. Amos 3:3
“Can two walk together, except they be agreed?”
It is not by force. Unprofitable relationship has an uncanny tendency to draw you back and if they are not helping, cut them off. Lawyers call it ‘consensus ad idem’. There must be spiritual, mental, career growth. Have your own rules and philosophy. Some friends are not going anywhere and will draw you back. Pick friends with Mental alacrity and sagacity.
3.Balance your activities with a workable timetable. Emphasis on workable, things you can achieve. Have a personal timetable. If you do this, your chances of going to heaven are high because you are busy doing good things. No time for backbiting and gossip. The church has become a cauldron of rumors. Ecc 10:10.
“Vs 10: If the iron be blunt, and he do not whet the edge, then must he put to more strength: but wisdom is profitable to direct.”
Give yourself direction so you do not lose direction.
4.Embrace disappointments and failures with a bracing determination to fight back with positive and unparalleled results. Most of the great men out there are failures, Serial failures, some have failures occurring of their making, some circumstances. When you fail, don’t fall flat and think the world has ended, you will rise again. Prob 24:16
“Vs 16: For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.”
The race is not to the swift nor the battles for to the strong. Job 14:7-8
5.Be always, 100% God centered. Prov 3:6.
“Vs 6: In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”
Let God be there and things would get better.

- Any power that has put a limit on my brain, die in Jesus name
- Arrows of failure in my life, die in Jesus name.
