Ps 92:1 says; It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High

KEY WORDS FROM PREVIOUS TEACHING

  1. When you make God’s business your business God will make you His own business
    and project.
  2. If you are not ready to take or obey instructions from God you are not qualify to give
    instruction to the devil and his cohorts.
  3. The value you place on the word of God in your heart is crucial in determining how
    much benefit you will get from it.
  4. Right association will reinforce your conviction, wrong association will destroy your
    conviction.

    WHAT IS PRAISE? PSA 117:1; 1 CHRON 29:20, PSA 106:1; PSA 118:1
     Praise is a willing sacrifice (Ps 54:6; Heb 13:15)
     Praise is your expression of faith in God (Jam 2:17)
     Praise is giving God all that is His due and giving Him room in our life to do all He
    wants to do.
     Praise is a weapon for spiritual warfare (Psa 149)
     Praise is liken to the rain cycle (rain)
     Praise is not focusing on happenings; it is focusing on God’s faithfulness.
     It is focusing on the integrity and efficacy of God and His word.
     Praise is God’s hotline.
    WHAT IS THANKSGIVING? (MAL 2:1-2; REV 1:6; EPH 5:20)
     Thanksgiving is an attitude of appreciation and gratitude to God
     Thanksgiving is everyday affairs for a genuine child of God.
     Thanksgiving is our expression of our faith (Rom 4:20)
     Thanksgiving is a key that unlocks the miraculous (John 6:11-14; John 11:4)
    KEY NOTES:
    a. Whatever you don’t thank God for can never multiply.
    b. What you don’t appreciate will depreciate.
    c. When Christ does anything for you, He demand thanksgiving.
    WHAT IS WORSHIP?
     Worship is the normal employment of moral beings.
     Worship is like a love affair between you and God.
     The climax of praise is worship (always end your praise, thanksgiving with worship.)
    John 14:24
     Worship is the key to experience God in his reality.
     Worship brings divine presence.
    HOW TO EXPERIENCE GOD THROUGH “PTW”
    a. NEW BIRTH (JOHN 1:12; ISA 9:6)
     New birth connects you to power.
     It must be noted that there is a difference between the son and children.
     Until you received worship you cannot consistently experience God through PTW.
    b. GIVE IT YOUR BEST
    c. ABIDING FELLOWSHIP WITH GOD Psa 63:5; 69:3
     Your fellowship with God is what initiates you into the realm of signs and wonder.
    d. LIFESTYLE OF HOLINESS AND RIGHTEOUSNESS
    e. BE EXPECTANT
    f. BE PUNCTUAL (Don’t come late to service or unprepared)
    g. DON’T COMPLAIN
    h. TRUE PRAISES, THANKSGIVING AND WORSHIP TO GOD MUST BE A CONSTANT AND
    CONSISTENT ATTITUDE.
    i. AVOID DISTRACTORS
    j. YIELDING TO THE HOLY SPIRIT
    k. DON’T MURMUR OR GRUMBLE
    l. REPENTANCE IS NECESSARY
    BENEFITS OF PRAISE, THANKSGIVING AND WORSHIP (PTW)
  6. The beautiful part of praise thanksgiving is that it prepares you and enables to the
    important things that must be done for God.
  7. “PTW’ are parts of God’s prescription for changing your environment and situation.
  8. God makes himself known to His through “PTW”.
  9. “PTW” releases strange and unbelievable favour ( Mt 14:6-7)
  10. INICIATION INTO THE REALM OF SIGNS AND WONDERS
  11. “PTW” releases and guarantee help from above (Heb 4:16)
  12. Praise, thanksgiving and worship always turning our attention from ourselves to
    God.
  13. “PTW” releases strange favour.
  14. “PTW” releases great and incredible harvest.
  15. “PTW” helps us to hear from God I.e It grants access to God’s revelation
  16. When you “PTW” God the greatness of His power shatters the plan of the enemies,
    not mere “PTW” (Psa 66;1-3)
    BIBLICAL EXAMPLES OF THOSE WHO EXPERIENCED GOD THROUGH “PTW”
    a. Jehoshaphat
    b. David. David became God’s darling by praise (Psa 147:1)
    c. Paul and Silas
    d. Jesus – Jesus said father, “I THANK YOU” because you always hear me.
    e. Jesus – Jesus said father “I thank you:” because you always hear me…”
    f. Jesus gave thanks before given the people
    KEY NOTES
     If you don’t make Praise, Thanksgiving & Worship a lifestyle, you are not ready for
    Heaven.
     “PTW” must be learned in private before it is exhibited in public
     When you stop appreciating God, you start depreciating.
     To take God for granted is to be grounded you will make no progress if you do.
     Whatever keeps you away from the Bible Praise, Thanksgiving and Worship is your
    enemy
