Characteristics of the mockers of God
1. They turn the grace of God into lasciviousness. Jude 1:4
2. They believe in confession of sins without repentance. Prov. 28:13).
3. They falsely believe that mighty miracles and large crowds are signs of divine acceptance. Matt. 7:22-23).
4. Mockers of God populate the church with the ungodly. Psa. 12:8
5. Their bodies are not under Holy Ghost subjection. 1 Cor. 9:27; Heb 12:14; 1 These. 4:7; 1 Cor. 6:9; 1 Tim 4:1; 2 John. 1:10.
6. They see holiness message as a personal opinion. Holiness isn’t a personal opinion, it’s a divine mandate. Hebrews 12:14, 1 Thessalonians 4:7, 1 Corinthians 6:9
7. Mockers of God are captured and captivated by doctrines of devils. 1 Timothy 1:3; 4:1, 2 John 1:10
What to do against these mockers to obtain the Power of God
- Mark them, know them, expose them – Romans 16:17
- Avoid them – Romans 16:17
- Stop listening to their messages. 2 Tim. 2:16-18.
… If you keep listening to them, the following would happen to you.
– Your ungodliness will increase, they’ll destroy your faith and you’ll be accursed (Gal 1: 8-9).
Prayer Points
- Every mockery of God in my life, die by fire.
- Anything in my life that is resisting the glory of God, die!
- My Father, set me on fire in the name of Jesus.
- Anything in my life that is destroying the life of God in me, come out and die.
- My Father, from today and forever, let me experience the supernatural.
- My Father and my God, plant my feet on higher ground.
