… MFM International HQ Youth Church, at its awards’ ceremony titled – “Appreciation for Good Works” put smiles on the faces of members by appreciating their commitments, dedication to duty and consistency in the work of God.

The Royal Banquet organised by the MFM, International Headquarters Youth Church started at about 3pm on the 26th of December, 2021. The venue which was the Grace Auditorium of the International Headquarters was beautifully and elegantly decorated with an exquisite collection of table flowers as well as other beautiful hall ornaments.
A serene environment was created and maintained by the Protocol Officers and Ushers, who ensured that guests were warmly welcome and comfortably settled.
As a praying church, it was only proper that the event would kick off with an opening prayer, and this was taken by one of our dear pastors, Pastor Femi Olutimehin. Subsequently, selected members of the choir led guests into a powerful praise and worship session, all in gratitude to God Almighty.
The Banquet hosts, Mr. Otesanya and Ms. Esosa soon took charge of anchoring the event. First, they announced the arrival of special guests of honour and welcomed guests to the royal banquet.

Fun games were conducted at intervals as members of the audience actively participated, with winners taking home amazing prizes, courtesy of the General Overseer Dr. D.K Olukoya. The dance game was the highlight of the games session and guests were seen beaming with joy and laughter all the way!
The Youth Church dance group (David’s Company), thrilled guests with their electrifying performance. And our delectable Sister Grace of the choir serenaded guests with her rich, beautiful and melodious tune.
Members of the super creative Writers’ Club also entertained guests with a song and rap presentation adding colour to the already beautiful evening.
What’s a banquet without good food? The delighted guests were served Ice Cream as appetizers, after which they were treated to sumptuous meals. Safe to say there was a lot of food and drinks for everyone!

The night was capped with the presentation of certificates of appreciation to all groups, as well as awards to winners of selected categories. Winners were decided through the e-voting process earlier announced at the youth church.
The categories include: The Naomi Award, The Solomon Award, Awards to Friends of the Youth church, The Face of the Youth Church Award, The Most Creative and Innovative Group Award amongst others.

Honorary awards to Special Friends of the Youth Church
Our Amazing Pastor in charge, Oladimeji Emmanuel was presented with a surprise award of honour by the pastors and leaders, who accompanied this presentation with kind words to qualify the magnanimous personality of our Pastor.
Every member of the workforce got a gift courtesy of our Father in the Lord. The benediction and closing prayers were done by our Dear Pastor Oladimeji Emmanuel. The event came to a close with guests exchanging pleasantries, taking pictures and sharing joy and laughter.

There was indeed no better way to celebrate and appreciate the Youth Church International Headquarters Workforce and Leadership!
It was definitely a great way to end the year 2021 even as we look forward to a rewarding and glorious year 2022.
