The Third Sunday Service in the month of May, 2022 was indeed a great one as members of the MFM INT’L Headquaters Youth Church attended the service. with their various gorgeous attires, they all looked proudly exceptional in their lovely, godly yet modest garments.

Here’s another lovely interview we had with one of our decently dressed member. Read below to catch a glimpse of the interview with Mr Oluwatunmise.

Tell me a little about yourself

My name is Olusanya Oluwatunmise, a 400-level student of Mountain Top University, studying Food Science and Technology. I am a fashion designer and I own a fashion brand named FAXION. I made this white Agbada outfit myself.

How long have you been attending the Youth Church?

I’ve been a member of MFM INT’L Headquarters since childhood, I was born into this church but I sarted attending the Youth Church when I gained admission into the university in 2018.

What word would you use to describe your fashion style?

Unique and Different.

Fashion-wise, Who inspires you and why?

My parents, My mum had always got me clothes since childhood. As at last week, she went to the market to buy the cloth material and other things needed to make this outfit saying she wants me to look really nice for my birthday thanksgiving. My dad, on the other hand, gives reassuring smile whenever he sees me dressed up. Anytime I’m picking an outfit for an occasion, I imagine him being in my front giving a yes or no, or I ask my junior sisters what they feel about the outfit, their responses like; “it is very nice”, and “the idea is very creative” encourages me more. They are the people I look up to.

What’s your best color?

Blue and white with any shade of blue; royal, sky, navy, powdered, etc.

How does your style fit into your lifestyle?

It represents who I am or how I want to be seen
It depends actually, because I have different “shades” of me. I can wake up and say this is the way I want to dress today. In totality, it speaks about who I am.

What do you want your style to say about you?

Unique and different

If you could raid any gospel musician closet who would it be?

Dunsin Oyekan. Maybe because I like his songs. I check out his outfit on Instagram once in a while

Have you ever had any wardrobe malfunction in church?

Yes, there was a particular Sunday I had to wear a hoodie and a Jean trouser with a pair of palm slippers to church cause there wasn’t power supply to iron my shirt and trousers. I felt it was extremely casual.

When picking your outfit for church, is there anything that comes to your mind?

The Bible says:
“In the presence of God there is fullness of joy” and there is a saying that: “You dress, the way you want to be addressed”
So I want a situation where I dress to go and meet my Father in a Sonly manner.
Most times I like wearing native attire to church. You know I make my clothes myself and I like to explore different designs, I want people to know that my designs are unique.

After this interview, people would love to know if you are single/married/crushing on someone/in a relationship.

I’m currently in a relationship.
