Last Sunday was was full of joy and happiness as it was the Daughter of Zion annual conference Thanksgiving. Let’s take a short ride into the DOZ coordinator fashion life.

Tell me a little about yourself

My name is Blessing Okwuofu; A Christian, Wife, Mother, Head of Audit at a transport company, member of the choir and book blogger @thereadingmom.ng

How long have you been attending the Youth Church

I have been attending the youth church since 2010.

What words would you use to describe your style?

Conservative and comfortable.

Who inspires your sense of fashion?

Nobody really

What is your best colour?

It’s difficult to choose. I think most colours look good on me.

How does your style fit into your lifestyle?

I attend MFM, which is a conservative church, and I like to be comfortable.

If you could raid any gospel musician’s closet, who would it be?

Honestly, I’m not sure.

Have you ever had any wardrobe malfunction in church?

Not really, except for the time when I wore uncomfortable shoes and fell on stage.

When picking your outfit for church, is there anything that comes to your mind?

If I’m singing with the choir that day, it’s easy. If not, I just pick any comfortable outfit I have, and I like to match with my girls too.

As the head of the DOZ committee, what would be your advice or what would you like the female gender to know about dressing?

You can look great and stylish even when dressed modestly. Honour God with your body and dress to please Him. You should not DELIBERATELY dress to make men lust after you; you are too precious for that.

After this interview, people would love to know if you are single/married/crushing on someone/in a relationship.

I’m happily married with two beautiful girls.
