In our last meeting, I told us that success and victory are core elements you cannot joke with. If you check the Bible, great men and women were those who experienced success and victory in their lives.
Three things are difficult to define:
1. Power
2. Leadership
3. Success.
What is success?
- It is a life of daily progress toward useful service to others. That is, you are living to serve others.
- It is the ability to spend your life in God’s will
- It is achieving all that you have been created for.
- It is living the world a little bit better than you met it
- It is the attainment of ultimate objectives
- It is overcoming setbacks, problems and obstacles.
- It is doing your best to become the best that you are capable of becoming. There is something inside you greater than who you are now.
- It is thinking about yesterday without any regret and tomorrow without any fear
- It is attaining a height when you are spiritually strong, physically healthy, and mentally free from all confusion and frustration.
“If we look through the sand of life and we cannot find your footsteps there, you are a failure.“
Success is not cheap – Deut 2:24; and spiritual warfare is not optional. Everyone would need to fight to possess his/her possession. … Contend for the faith…. and this area of contending is where most Christians fail.
Life is not a playing ground but a battlefield. As Christians, we are not fighting to win, but to enforce the victory that Jesus won for us on the cross of Calvary.
Anyone that desires good success in life and destiny must be ready to fight for it. The devil does not target anyone but those who are ready for success and fulfil their destinies.
God created you naked but not empty. There is a seed of greatness inside you. Something is in you, bigger and greater than your outside appearance.
Your success as a child of God brings glory to heaven. No demon will clap for you when you are making progress in life. That is why, as Christians, we must contend for the faith; ….. and this contending means.

You cannot separate success and victory from spiritual warfare. Good success is a product of understanding spiritual warfare. I John 4:4
Reasons why many Christians are far from where God wants them to be.
1 Sin. … Sin is a reproach to anyone. Any unconfessed sin will block you from God.
2. Ignorance. Anytime you display spiritual ignorance, Jesus weeps
3. Failure to engage in spiritual warfare. Spiritual warfare is more than prayer and fasting. Spiritual warfare means.
(a) Knowing who Jesus Christ is. If you know him, you will serve and surrender to him completely
(b) Knowing who the devil is.
(c) Knowing who you are. That is, understanding your make; who you are is not the name that your parents gave to you, neither is it your title, who you are is what you are created for, according to the Bible. You must identify yourself with your spiritual identity.
