Yes! Tomorrow is the so-called Valentine’s Day. There has been lots of talk, hype and events slated for this year’s celebration. Churches are making preparations for their singles and married lest they get ‘trapped’ by the love in the air. Entertainers are making plans to engage those who are in love (lust) so they can be patronized.

A lot of people, especially those in a love relationship (boyfriend and girlfriend) are also looking forward to this day for its celebration. A day when there’s going to be lots of hangouts and hangovers, much sales of condoms and contraceptives and lots of immoralities at its peak.

Does love end on a day like this? Does love cease in the air after February 14?

May I tell you this; love exists forever and can be celebrated beyond Valentine’s Day. I’m sure you know that. Now imagine you end up spending it to gratify the deeds of the flesh, will you be able to undo what time cannot change? It’s better you don’t do the things that would mar your destiny than to regret it afterwards.

And in case you don’t know, love can be expressed without any consequences and also with consequences. Expressing love with the wrong person will bring daring consequences. Expressing love (lovemaking) at the wrong time will leave you hurt and destroyed. Don’t be deceived and fooled.

There’s nothing you enjoy after Valentine’s Day. You can either have good memories of it or live with the consequences of your unguarded activities of that day. Pleasure kills and it’s destructive. How will you spend your time during Valentine’s Day? If you groove in an ungodly way, be sure to await the consequences of it.

You know the consequences of catching fun in an ungodly way; it could leave you with things like STDs, unwanted pregnancy, loss of virginity, evil soul ties, loss of virtues and the likes. What’s going to be your achievement after drinking to stupor or wasting away the better you on a one day celebration that would take you sweat and rigor to gather yourself together?

Discover God’s love and express it. It leaves you with no hurt. It’s the only love you can express on a day like this that will not mar your life and destiny. Don’t express lust in place of love. When lust is conceived it brings forth sin, and sin when it is finished, it leads to death and destruction.

Guard your loins. Don’t lose your guard. Do not do things that would leave you with a lifetime of regrets.

Promote God’s love and not lust. Spend the day wisely and not in a way you’d forever regret.
